NOBLESVILLE (WISH) – The community is stepping up to help a Hamilton County family touched by tragedy.
21-year-old Tony Brock was killed in a workplace accident at ID Castings in Noblesville on Thursday. He leaves behind a girlfriend and an unborn daughter.
Nikkie Turner told 24-Hour News 8 that she and Brock were high school sweethearts. With a baby girl on the way, they were about to plan a wedding and buy a house, but those plans quickly changed this week.

“I love you both so much. He’d tell me that on a daily basis,” Turner said.
Thursday was no different. Turner woke her boyfriend and sent him off to work. Just hours later, an accident at ID Castings changed her life.
The coroner says Brock was crushed in a workplace accident.
“He was my best friend and the love of my life. We’ve been though so much together and it’s just hard to know that he’s not here,” Turner said.
Brock hadn’t quite popped the question to Turner, but she said they were already shopping for rings.
“We actually had a date set for September of next year. He just had asked dad’s permission,” Turner said.
But it’s not the wedding dreams that this nightmare has ended. For Turner, the hardest part is knowing that her daughter Callie Rae, due in January, won’t have a father.
“To know that he’s not going to be able to hold his baby girl when she’s here. And her not to be able to do things with him as she grows up,” said Turner.
But a GoFundMe page has already raised more than $5,000 to help Turner with her baby. It’s an outpouring of support she said is hard to comprehend.
“I can’t believe it. People I don’t even know are donating and it’s such a blessing for people to be doing that,” Turner said. “Callie’s going to know who her daddy is. She’s going to know how much of a wonderful man he was and how he was loved by so many.”
Brock’s funeral is set for Tuesday. Click here to make a donation.
