Racking systems are designed to carry a "Evenly Distributed Load". This means that pallets should be located in the position indicated by the tick. loading other than this can be acceptable but the manufacturer will need to be consulted to approve this. Loading other than as defined can in certain instances put elements of the racking system under stress including the connection between the upright and the beam.
