An important element when auditing racking damage reviewed by our inspection team is safe pallet loading pracitics. Frequently pallets are overloaded and do not leave safe margins with the racking structure. At times there is evidence that operators are in-exact with loading and have a tendency to use the structures as a line up guide (evidenced by upright damage).

Another element observed is the correct wrapping of pallet stock. Unwrapped loads can be a fall hazard as evidenced in this you tube video, where stock narrowly misses a customer in store: Warehouse shelves collapse
