When an IRIA inspector visits your site, they collect data in real time on handheld digital device.
Every damage item found during an inspection is photographed, classified by risk level and can be tracked through to repair and sign-off. The data goes directly into RackMaster™ so your compliance records are always relevant and up to date. Within 48 hours of your inspection, your report is available online.

Independent inspectors have no financial incentive to overstate damage or recommend unnecessary repairs. When an inspector also sells repairs, they earn more revenue by finding more problems. IRIA’s revenue comes from inspection, training, and testing services — never from selling or repairing racking. This ensures completely objective assessments you can trust, and reports that insurers and regulators recognise as impartial.
You choose your own repair provider. IRIA provides the independent inspection report identifying what needs repair, but we do not perform repairs ourselves. This ensures you get competitive quotes from qualified repairers without pressure to use a specific provider. Our report can be shared with any competent repairer.
