Our Impact
IRIA is an independent racking inspection service provider with clients in Australia, New Zealand, and globally. We are dedicated to social responsibility and acknowledge the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, who are the Traditional Owners of the land where we gather.
IRIA is also an active supporter of the “Yes” campaign and sponsor of The Smith Family, which focuses on helping young Australians to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty. Additionally, we are dedicated to a Low Carbon Future and actively monitor our Carbon Neutrality through various sustainable practices.
Diversity and Inclusion
Our company was deeply disappointed at the failed Referendum vote in October 2023. We believe that the opportunity to provide a deeply powerful tool to enable change has been missed, possibly for an entire generation. We are deeply sorry that the process leading up to and beyond the vote was in so many ways deeply hurtful to First Nations people and their supporters. We will, as a company support the processes to improve First Nations Peoples’ disadvantage in whatever way we can.
As a Reflect organisation, IRIA Pty Ltd has taken proactive steps to build strong relationships with Indigenous communities, both internally and externally – view our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) here.
Community engagement
IRIA Supports the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) because it is a national charity working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander remote Communities across Australia. They are Community-led, responding to requests from remote Communities for culturally relevant books, including early learning board books, resources, and programs to support Communities to create and publish their stories in languages of their choice.
IRIA supports the Smith Family because they believe that education is one of the world’s most powerful change agents. They focus on helping young Australians to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty. IRIA does this through active sponsorship as well as student mentoring.
Environment
IRIA Believes that a Low Carbon Future is the preeminent issue for current and future generations. IRIA actively monitors its Carbon Neutrality via a range of active processes including, carbon offsets, low-emission energy sources and changes in business processes. IRIA currently has a Net Zero carbon footprint and is actively working to reduce its overall impact via a range of sources and methods.
